About the role

The Ampowr team will rapidly be expanded in several functional areas, one of which being the Commercial Department. This department consists of the Sales Support team and the Projects & Proposals team.

The Commercial Department Manager heads the Sales Support and Projects & Proposals teams.

  • Sales Support: Daily contact with other company departments (such as field sales, inside sales, marketing and purchasing) & external contact with customers, covering the entire process from the start of the enquiry to the order and through to the logistical process of delivery to customers worldwide.
  • Projects & Proposals: Preparing and monitoring the Ampowr proposals process in close cooperation with the sales departments & leading and executing commercial projects.

KPIs will need to be set for the teams and the CMD will be responsible to track and report regularly on these.

Functional requirements

Candidate Profile, functional

  • Academic or higher vocational degree;
  • CRM management experience is a must;
  • Experience with Hubspot CRM is an advantage;
  • Extensive working experience in dynamic, rapid growth environments (minimum 4 years w.e.);
  • Experience in setting up and expanding support and/or project departments . You know what it takes to build your own department, based on a results first attitude. Create structure, get processes in place and add people only when it makes sense;
  • Well versed in project management.

  • You excel in interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written;
  • You have the ability to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation;
  • You are used to taking ownership, you are a self starter and you are totally stress resilient, you perform well under pressure;
  • You lead from the front and have excellent motivational skills;
