Freeday was founded in 2020 by Marcus Groeneveld and Toon van Bodegom. The inception of Freeday was based on the idea to create the largest staffing agency for digital employees in Europe.

About the role

As an Account Manager at Freeday, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with valued clients. Your primary objective will be to understand their needs, provide exceptional service, and ensure their success with Freeday´s digital employee solutions.

What you’ll be doing

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact at Freeday.

  • Understand client requirements and goals, and effectively communicate them to internal teams.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team during the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition from sales to account management.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and insights on how to leverage Freeday´s digital employee solutions to improve their business processes.

  • Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts, and work closely with the sales team to maximize revenue generation.

  • Monitor client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide strategic recommendations to clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and customer implementation, to advocate for client needs and ensure a smooth client experience.

Job requirements

What you bring

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of technology, automation, and digital solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and address challenges.
  • Proactive and customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
